Kirkman House hosts a Grand Tour of Ireland
Isabella Potts Kirkman immigrated to the Unites States in 1863 from Ballybay, Ireland and finally settled in Walla Walla in 1871 with her husband William. The Kirkmans were some of Walla Walla’s most respected and influential citizens in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The Kirkman House Museum is hosting a trip to visit Isabella’s Irish roots and the rest of Ireland from July 7 to 20, 2019. This deluxe 12-night trip will circumnavigate the island and will include both northern and southern parts of the country. Extra programming will be provided by museum board members that will make the trip extra special.
A no obligation information session will be held at the museum on Monday, April 22nd at 7:00pm.
